A brief description of Helsingor Golf Club
Here in the northeast corner of Zealand, on the outskirts of Elsinore and not far from the ferries to Sweden, is one of Denmark's oldest and best park golf courses.
The Club was founded in 1927 on what was then the military training of army officers school at Kronborg.
Today the club has not only 18 excellent golf holes, of which no two are alike, but also a par 3 course with 9 "real" golf holes a driving range with 6 target greens surrounded by bunkers and a short game area which is one of the best in the Denmark.
Elsinore golf course counted also among the 10 best parkland courses in Denmark, which is not surprising when visiting club.
The course has hosted the European Senior Tour in 2006, Ladies Europeen Tour in 2007 and Amateur Championship for Women national team 2015.
Already from the large terrace in front of the clubhouse, where you can foresee no less than three greens, the course impression of a beautiful park where all holes are surrounded by a myriad of beautiful trees and shrubs of various kinds.
